Howdy! I hope everybody's having (or I guess "had") a great week. Sorry this one's a little late -- I just got back from seeing today's movie.
#14 Fyre Fraud
I didn't realize that the organizer of this festival, who defrauded tons of people, has also decided to create a documentary of said fraud. What the hell is wrong with this guy?
This one was not made from that guy and it's available now on Hulu. The one he made is going to be on Netflix on Jan. 18. Stay tuned to see if I watch it.
I also just realized I should tell y'all where I watched these movies, in case you want to watch them too.
#15 The Yellow Birds
Available on Amazon Prime
I don't really mind when movies have shock value to them, but this gruesome ending felt unnecessary. I don't really know what this movie was meant to say, I just felt like the writer knew how they wanted it to end and didn't care how they got there.
#16 Nothing to Hide
Available on Netflix
Nothing makes me happier than when I put on a random movie and the opening credits are in French. I cannot express how much I love foreign films, especially French. I don't what it is about French films, but I've never met one that I didn't like -- this one was no exception.
It was interesting, surprising, and well written. If you can get past the subtitles (which is a big hurdle for me) I think you'll love it.
#17 Love After Love
Available on Hulu
I know a lot of people in the film community detest streaming services, but I don't really understand why. Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime are giving us a way to see movies we otherwise would never know exist. If you ever feel like there's nothing on Netflix, you gotta look harder.
#18 Game Night
Available on HBOGo
I haven't laughed out loud at a movie as much as I did with this one. I loved every single minute.
#19 Predator
Available at Redbox
So we went from a high right to an extreme low. I hated this movie as much as I loved Game Night.
#20 Glass
In theaters
I'm always amazed how incredible M. Night's imagination is. Not every film of his is a hit, but they're always completely original.
So, my computer decided to not work this week, and demanded that I wipe my hard drive in order to work again. So, I wasn't able to make a graphic for this week. However, Sebastian pulled through with an amazing picture of the theater by my apartment that we saw Glass in.

Tip: find you a man that'll drive back to the theater and get out in the cold to take a picture, all for your blog and its 4 readers.
