Howdy!

During my long weekend, I saw Glass, casually walked past Hugh Dancy on S. Congress, and got a cute tattoo -- you could say I had a great start to my week.

So naturally, I wanted to ruin it with:

#21 Fyre

Available on Netflix

The biggest plot twist of this whole Fyre thing has been watching these documentaries and wanting to revel in rich kids wasting their money, then coming out feeling gross about the whole thing.

While I'll admit that watching these influencers get scammed will always be funny, there was so many other people who suffered so much worse.

#22 Love, Gilda

Available to rent

I didn't really know much about Gilda Radner going into this doc, but I really liked learning about her. It made me want to keep a journal.

#23 My Scientology Movie

Available on Netflix

Y'all -- Scientologists are nuts. What they are willing to do to people who speak out against them is disgusting.

#24 Boy Interrupted

Available on HBOGo

I'm sensing a theme for this week -- documentaries! I've mostly been trying to research a project I'm about to write for, but it's nice to get back to watching a few docs.

#25 Not Alone

Available on Netflix

Another day, another documentary. This one dealt with another heavy topic, but it seemed like a movie that you put on for high school kids during a health class -- informative, but not well made.

#26 Perfect Bid: The Contestant Who Knew Too Much

Available on Hulu

I think we all love The Price Is Right, but the fact that some people memorize the exact price of each prize on the show makes me sad. I don't think I've been that committed to anything in my entire life.

#27 Little Italy

Available on Amazon Prime

After a week full of well thought-out and interesting documentaries, I thought it would be best to end my week with something terrible -- and oh, was this one terrible.

I could have done another round of notes about this one, but the entire thing was honestly unbelievable -- you need to see it for yourself.

As always, thanks for sticking around another week. See you next Sunday!
