Howdy! Brace yourself for a long post.

#129 Four Weddings and a Funeral

Available on Hulu

A serial monogamist forms a connection with a girl he meets at several events.

Just a classic Hugh Grant rom-com. One thing I really loved were his group of friends. They seemed really fun and supportive, but weren't just stuck as some background noise. They were all used really well, which I appreciated.

#130 See You Yesterday

Available on Netflix

Two best friends in high school figure out time travel and are forced to use it when tragedy strikes, but some of their trips through time don't go exactly as planned.

I don't really like when time travel is the main plot of a movie because it can get really complicated and make my head hurt. This one still fell into that category for me, but that didn't necessarily make me hate it. Although some parts were frustrating (if my sibling ran up to me and told me I should run, the last thing I would do is question them), I enjoyed the movie overall.

#131 We Are Columbine

Available on Hulu

A retelling of the Columbine school shooting as told by students who were there.

I don't think I've ever seen a documentary told from the perspective of the students. It was really interesting.

#132 Knocked Up

Available on Hulu

A high-strung television producer gets knocked up by an unemployed stoner.

The premise seems really basic, but the cast of funny people and good writing make it much more.

#133 Despite Everything

Available on Netflix

Four sisters come together for their mother's funeral. As her will is read, the sisters soon realize they're in for an adventure full of family secrets and hard-to-swallow truths.

This was my first time watching a movie with dubbing rather than subtitles and it was fine. I absolutely love foreign films, but I'm always worried that I'm missing out on little intricacies and jokes that get lost in translation.

#134 Candy Jar

Available on Netflix

Two high school seniors navigate their last year of debate championships while also trying to get into their dream schools.

With all the high school movies I've seen this year, I think this is one of the better ones. It centered around the high school debate world, one which I've never seen explored before and although it was kinda cheesy at times, it was overall pretty entertaining.

#135 Imagine Me & You

Available on Hulu

A newly-wed befriends the florist for her wedding and the two quickly develop feelings for each other.

My biggest issue with this movie and a lot of rom coms are how unrealistic the timelines are. I'm sure there are more than a few "love at first sight" stories out there, but this one just felt like a big reach.

#136 Summer '03

Available on Prime Video

A teen's summer spirals after her grandmother unleashes brutal family secrets on her death bed.

I don't even know where to begin with this movie. It definitely had some funny moments, but the plot felt like the writers just compiled a bunch of interesting things that could happen to a family and sloppy connected them. The characters also didn't feel consistent. This whole thing was a mess.

#137 Train to Busan

Available on Netflix

A father and daughter get on a train to visit the girl's mother right when a zombie outbreak starts.

I admittedly don't watch a lot of zombie films, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. The zombies were terrifying; the story was equally suspenseful and emotional; I just loved every part of it.

#138 Booksmart

In theaters

Two good girls have one crazy night out after they find out that the other kid's constant partying didn't stop them from getting into good colleges.

This is hands-down the best teen movie I've seen this year. It may be the best of the year. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I laughed the entire time. I can't even express how much I loved this movie. You have to see it.

#139 Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

Available on Netflix

The sequel to the musical that I've seen a collective 40 minutes of in the span of a year.

I saw parts of the first one when I got my nails done and the guy behind me seemed very into it. So I thought I should see what the hype is about by watching the sequel. I was not a fan.

#140 Rim of the World

Available on Netflix

Kids at a summer camp get separated from their group when aliens invade.

From the washed up viners to the cringy dialogue, this movie was absolutely terrible. Do not watch.

#141 Ben Is Back

Available on Hulu

Recently sober Ben surprises his family by coming home for Christmas.

The movie itself wasn't anything special, but Lucas Hedges made it worth it. He is such a great actor that brings a lot to a movie that does very little.

Sorry for a such a long post. I'm on my way to being caught up, which means I'm getting closer to changing things up a little. See ya next week!
